Whether you think Valentine’s day is a beautiful day to celebrate and appreciate your significant other or a holiday exploited by companies to make money, love can feel all-consuming and there is a science as to why.

Love paints a grin across your face when that text message bling’s onto your phone or makes you ‘coo’ when you see your friend post a photo of their new baby in a cute outfit.

With Christmas just around the corner, I like to think up great new side dishes. This is a simple to make dish that adds extra veggies on your plate. Brussels sprouts are also high in Vitamin C.

The juice cleanse has gained popularity in recent years, with many people partaking in regular juice fasts throughout the year. I often have clients ask me, what are my thoughts on a juice fast? I decided to do some research, bite the bullet or drink the juice in this case and try one for myself.

These are my findings and experience.

The idea of fasting

Recent studies by Dr Mark Mattson have shown benefits for intermittent fasting with results of reduced inflammation, improved cognitive function, increased stress resistance and reduced blood pressure. Intermittent fasting has also shown high efficacy for weight loss, improvements in insulin resistance and reduced risk of cardio vascular disease by enhancing mitocho...

Camping is all about being in the great outdoors, becoming one with nature, meeting some new people and eating food from a can right! wrong.

Just because you have limited access to cooking facilities, does not mean that you have to forgo the healthy eating.

On a recent trip across America I took charge of the cooking side of things (shout out to the guys and gals who put up the tents) and we rocked it each and every day with great tasting and healthy food.

To get access to some of the delightful treats I whipped up click on the link below.

Happy camping all.
